Taylor Electric is working to meet your needs – and now paying your bills will be even easier.
Several changes are taking place, so please take note:

In response to popular demand, members now have another helpful option to pay their Taylor Electric monthly statement – an online website.

Beginning this month, bills may be paid online at the following internet address: https://payonline.taylorelectric.com.

This secure site is operated by our accounting contractor Southeastern Data Cooperative and maintained independently of Taylor Electric Cooperative. It meets all security regulations to ensure that your financial information is protected by the highest industry standards.

Here’s how you can take advantage of this easy payment method:

• Your first login and password is your account number minus the last two digits. For example, if your account number is 1234501, enter 12345 into the account number box and also type that number into the password box.
• Once you login, you will be prompted to change your password. This first-time login and password information also will be included on your Taylor Electric monthly statement until you establish an online account, should you choose this new payment option.
• After confirmation of payment, Southeastern Data Cooperative will automatically post the payment to your account at Taylor Electric Cooperative. Note: the payee on your financial statement for this transaction will be listed as "SEDC Payment,” not Taylor Electric.

Also starting in February, a small convenience fee will be applied for all electronic payment options: online payment service, credit cards, credit card drafts, debit cards, e-checks and swipe payment at remote locations. This nominal $1 surcharge is required to cover a small portion of your financial institutions’ service costs for these transactions. Please note that this amount is not an additional dollar paid for your electric service.

Mailing a personal check, paying by drop box, or payment by any method at Taylor Electric offices will not incur this fee.
